May Kim Ta Phin Homestay

We’ve loved the family!! They all are really amazing and are the most value of this place. Also the herbal bath is great and the herbal medicine tour. The rooms upstairs with bathroom are good. May Chan is so helpful and nice, always wants to helps you!

The first night we had a room downstairs, which is very small and not comfortable. The dinner is nice sharing with the family but it is very expensive for what it is, very simple and not so good (we are vegetarian)

We loved our stay here! The family running the place was so charming and welcoming, we ate all meals along with them and really felt at home here:) The house is old and really cool (they have lived in it for many generations), and the rooms are clean and spacious. The village is a bit outside of sapa, which is just nice and way less touristy. The food was great! They also do tours where you can pick herbs and stuff, but we didn't have time for that (but heard from the others who lived here that it was amazing), and the herbal baths are fenomenal!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was lovely!

We had beautiful days learning about their culture and herbal plants. Was very interesting. The family is very friendly and sociable. The medicinal bath with natural bubbles from the plants was great, very relaxing! We would love to come back one day and learn more with better time(:

A beautiful homestay in a village outside of Sapa. The family were absolutely beautiful - so friendly, welcoming and inviting. All were more than happy to answer my endless questions and teach me about their family and culture. I came in December so it was cold, however with the fire going and the hot baths each evening, it was great! The family meals were delicious and another great experience. I spent a day foraging for herbs and plants for the baths, as well as vegetables for cooking. Also was taught embroidery and how to make my own chop sticks. Great experience!!

You feel like home away from home soon you enter the place. Hospitality at its best with the feel of local centuries old tradition and non touristic approach. The food was the best along with the herbal bath. And best part all of them speak great English and communication was smoothest I had in my 3 months in vietnam. I forgot to even take my ear pods which was found later by owner and organised to send it to HCMc thru them. Totally amazing and worth money.

It's a 20 to 25 mint ride from Sapa, it was easy for us as we had hired a bike ( but if you need non touristic experience you need to go far from city.)
