GBThe place is amazing!! We had the best wedding anniversary stay! The animals were definitely a highlight! We love the little lodge with indoor bbq too!! Will definitely be returning ❤️
Not more service on phone wouldn’t usually bother us but we had kids to check up on at home
GBJust perfect ❤️
Lovely ❤️
GBAnimals close by, able to watch without moving from the decking
GBVery quirky and amazing animals

GBWe really enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect for us, Peace and tranquillity were just what we were looking for, and that's what we got 😁 we loved the variety of animals. We didn't see a sole all the time we were there, which we liked.
Very poor signal and no WiFi. It was great to have a break and be off grid, but when you have children, it's a must.
GBPeaceful and quiet surroundings, just birdsong and the animals calling occasionally on the farm. Great for anybody who likes animals and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Meercats, Emu's, Guineafowl, Chickens, Ponies, Goat, Geese, Wallaby, Rabbits and Dogs kept an interest at all times. Had a few minor issues but they were addressed straight away by owners. Nice to sit in a quirky 'Hobbits House' (I call it) at the end of of the property. Nice to have a chat and wine in there. You could have a fire or Barbecue in there too which was nice, although we didn't do this- a nice idea though. Nice hot tub with wash down shower outside. Lights and bunting a nice touch too.
Were not able to get hot water to wash the dishes, so had to keep boiling the kettle. Suggestions below. Maybe an armchair instead of a wicker chair would have been more comfortable to sit on in main house. From the main building to the 'Hobbit House' was a bit spongy/wet underfoot even though stone was down had to carefully watch your step so not to collect soil of footwear. Maybe a small wooden footway connecting to both properties to save getting muddy perhaps may help.
GBThe location is absolutely beautiful with animals all around you. We spent most of our time in the lodge cooking on the BBQ and relaxing by the fire. The hot tub was great too and the host was extremely helpful and responsive. It's so secluded and peaceful, perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The bed was super comfy and we slept like babies and everything you could need to cook either in the kitchen or on the BBQ was provided. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soaps, deodorants etc which is really thoughtful. Great spot for dog walks too. All in all a magical little getaway, came away feeling rested and rejuvenated and we will 100% be returning.
The showers aren't amazing due to low water pressure and the hot water to the taps wasn't working so had to boil the kettle to wash the pots. It's muddy outside and especially with a dog could of done with a dust pan and brush and maybe a Mop available to keep it clean. These are minor cons though and wouldn't put us off returning
