We were delighted with The Lodge. It was bigger than expected and had everything that we needed. The welcome package was very nice. Location is great and very peaceful. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Outside space is pretty much limited to the deck and the side of the lodge.

Nice location very peaceful. Well equipped for a self catering accommodation. Very clean and very comfortable. Loved the balcony around the lodge to watch the animals.

"Perfect getaway"

Everything! Friendly hosts, lovely farm setting with horses, donkeys, goats and ducks/chickens outside the window. Amazing view. Spacious homely lodge. Perfectly warm central heating. Added touches of homemade cake, fresh bread, milk and eggs etc on arrival. Perfect break away from the Rat Race to welcome 2026 😍

Everything. The communication from the hosts was superb and The Lodge exceeded our expectations. We have stayed in many cabins, lodges etc. but this was by far the best. Comfortable beds and sofas, superb shower room and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The views from every window of The Lodge were amazing and it was so quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of pubs, shops, walks etc. To top it all the provisions provided on our arrival made our stay even better.

Location was beautiful. Arrived in the pouring rain but place was well lit and the instructions were simple to follow. Place was warm on arrival and very clean with a nice welcome package and milk and bread and butter.

Pathway to the property was quite uneven and could be difficult for some. Decking was also a little slippery. Might be worth adding some for of anti slip at least to the entrance.
