Garden Cottage B&b

Stayed at this delightful cottage for two nights, situated in a picture postcard village. Gill and Bill were super friendly, as was their little dog Mole. Cannot fault this place. Everything needed was provided; lovely spotless room with adjoining large bathroom, toiletries, selection of teas and coffees and a tasty bun too! As for the breakfast, cereals, jams, fruit, toast and a real top quality full English. Will definitely return.

The breakfast was excellent, well presented and cooked with speed, but with no fuss. Our hostess was charming. The room was large, comfortable and with a good view. Not that we went there, but there is a good pub within easy walking distance.

We enjoyed a full English breakfast cooked to our preference by our very friendly host. The location lived up to it's name with a lovely garden. it was hidden away which made it more interesting. We would certainly go back.

I had problems with the stairs as I have arthritis but that was the only problem.

A lovely quiet location. A real home from home hosted by the amazing Gill. A nice spacious room with an ensuite that included a bath as well as a shower was a real bonus for me. The home cooked breakfast was perfect and I really felt welcomed by the family. A good night's sleep was helped with a comfy bed and I loved the beautiful furniture and bureau. Definitely will be staying again.

Everything a delight

Typisch Engels deze cottage. Heel knus, oud en vol. Als je op zoek bent naar luxe dan moet je hier niet zijn, maar als je gaat voor het echte Engelse gevoel, dan zit je goed. Locatie is redelijk afgelegen, midden tussen de weilanden en veel groen. De uitbaters zijn enorm aardig en nodigen je letterlijk uit aan hun keukentafel. Lekker ontbijt met van alles genoeg.

Tegenvallen is een groot woord, het is heel authentiek en dus wat stoffig van aard. Maar dat hoort bij dit soort locaties. Het deurtje naar de badkamer is enorm smal.

Lovely light and clean en suite room upstairs in hosts home with view over garden. Easy parking. Welcoming hosts and great breakfast. Fresh milk provided for hot drink in room.

A little hard to find.
