I thought Solva was a lovely place with fabulous views & walks along the coast. Good choice of pubs available.
Unfortunately my accommodation in the Ship Inn wasn't great. The single bed was not comfortable & there was this terrible noise which was some sort of plumbing system meant that I was woken up several times during the night. I didn't find the Ship Inn very welcoming so didn't feel like eating or drinking there.

The room, location, and evening meal were great. As breakfast is not served here, I can only say the cafe across the road was a good option.
Sometimes the wifi in the room didn't work, which is hard if you are needing to do things online, as the bar downstairs is often, rightly, filled with people.

The property was in an excellent location. Next to a brilliant pub which was vibing with nice staff and super food. Super comfortable bed.
On arrival the bar tender showed us to our room - it was a very hot weekend - he thought it was funny that we were in the top of the pub and when asked about a fan he just said ‘no we don’t have one’. We asked to change rooms to the lower one with more windows but it was booked for what seemed one night. Thankfully we took our own fan. The taps are labelled wrong - hot and cold opposite. The bath does not drain. Not a welcoming vibe.
