Loved the location - quirky little place near the metro station - not that we used it as walked everywhere. Up and down hill so worth some gym sessions before going :) Apartament was pretty much as expected and met our needs for two nights. Great host and instant communication. Spotlessly clean. Good value for the location in this fabulous city.

Pretty much what most have said - we stayed at the weekend so building work not an issue for us, but may be for others. Top floor so warm in the summer even with the fans.

This apartment is in a great location in Alfama, close to the station and walkable into town. Its very cute & is equipped with everything you need & has some great views! Communication with host is easy and also has simple checkin/out. Would stay again! Definitely note the stairs are NARROW and its a 4th floor apartment, so I wouldn't recommend if you have lots of luggage or if you find stairs challenging :)

Was a little bit hot even with fans running, but not a massive deal! (might be in peak summer though)

Excellent position, close to the metro and nice small restaurants in Alfama. The host was very friendly. The apartment is really cute and nice, the overall feeling was very special. The bedroom is a bit bigger than it looked in the picture. The wifi was good.

Everything was good. The stairs are old and nice but very very narrow, as pointed out in the website. There are no shutters, just a little curtain in the bedroom, so light might wake you up quite early if you're sensitive.

Charming apartment. Comfortable. In a great location close to everything, yet still quiet.

Clean and lovely! Cool stairs up to the apartment! Very friendly and accommodating! Our plane was late, trains were late. But our contact was nothing but pleasant and helpful!

Building site outside. But that ia hardly anyone’s fault and inly temporary.
