"Great place for couple, even better for children!"

The hosts were excellent, very accommodating, and had a story to tell. The place was amazing with lots of mysterious small huts and cottages built for their grandchildren. They are flexible and have a long check-in window, opposite to what is shown on booking.com. The main cottage is over 400 year old!

"Loved - and hope to go back again next year some time."

Built by the owner to honour his grandfather's life as a shepherd. Excellent carpentry. Has an internal toilet (small space) and a shower room just next to/attached to the hut. I loved the location and the owners were wonderful - very interesting and lovely people. The shepherd's hut is located in a small field behind the owners home. Double bed. Cooking equipment and crockery. It had a 2 ring cooker and small oven. Kettle, tea, coffee and cereal for breakfast.

I don't think there was anything I disliked. I did trip on the wood burner hearth - but should have looked where I was going.
