Unique space in heart of Frome

Location perfect for us. Some very nice added extras were a lovely bonus.

I stayed here for 2 three day work trips- I needed  a base and a retreat space when I wasn't working and that meant being able to have a long bath or shower and having the choice about whether to cook at "home" or go out to eat. And for that it ticked all the boxes (once I'd been helped to decode the convection cooker!) - the breakfast kit of fresh bread, fruit and cereals was much appreciated. James is an amiable and informative host and the accommodation is thoughtful and functional - centrally located and convenient for everything Frome has to offer. Overall - highly recommended although I think it probably suits a summer stay better than my autumn ones - then you could open the doors and enjoy the lovely courtyard - I did begin to miss natural light after 3 days!

This isn’t down to the host ( who tried to help) - but although the accommodation is probably only 20 mins walk from the railway station (more with a heavy bag) don’t bank on there either being a taxi waiting there or to be able to book one in advance for an evening arrival. I tried 5 local companies before I travelled and none were willing to take my booking- even though I explained that I had a heavy bag and a disability.

We loved the location, James, the host, was helpful and gave us lots of information, nothing was a problem. He also left supplies in the fridge plus bread and fruit which was a lovely gesture. The location was great and we were very comfortable. The shower was really good plus there was a heated towel rail. We thought the accommodation was quirky in a good way.

Our only complaint was the lack of sun but given we were out a lot it wasn’t to much of a problem.
