Unique space in heart of Frome

James is an attentive and generous host. The property is small and perfectly formed, really comfortable and welcoming. James provided all the basics toward a smooth stay, plus lots of extras, such as bread, milk, fruit, cereal etc, which was thoughtful and appreciated. We loved the apartment tech and the play list, which we listened to all the time! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Frome. We had a great visit and would happily stay again.

There were a few unfortunate practical issues during our stay which sadly made our stay not as comfortable as expected. The hot water ran out on our first night and bath plug not working. Both issues resolved by the morning but other aspects of the place made our stay with a baby a bit difficult. Main issues were the awkward stepped entrance and slightly damp air in the apartment. No microwave and lack of extraction in the kitchen. A lot of other mod cons, but we found that some basics were missing. Shower was also very tight due to the layout but we are small so not a huge issue for us. Minor inconveniences but wouldn't recommend for a family.

Lovely quirky Japanese-style ground-level small studio flat with many smart features in a perfect location in central historic Frome. Genial host greeted us and explained how to use everything in the flat. Breakfast provisions were provided, including bread, jams, juice, coffee, tea and milk - and even a small bottle of prosecco! :-)

Some items weren’t replenished before our stay (bathroom hand soap & lotion), others not sufficient for our 5-night stay (kitchen tea towel, kitchen towels, toilet paper). Also after first evening, TV not working properly. A guest binder with reminder instructions would have been useful - e.g. for TV / streaming, bluetooth system, shower / bath.

A unique retreat in the heart of the beautiful and eclectic town of Frome. The studio is fully equipped with everything you need and is a really relaxing place to stay. The interior is stylish but cozy. James, the host is very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants within walking distance. We went to Bistro Lotte which I’d recommend.

Didn't expect any breakfast provision so bread, fruit, jams, coffee, tea and juice was really appreciated, there was even a wlecome prosecco :-) Excellent location and maps and local information provided by James which was great. Very comfy bed and plenty of seating, cushions, blankets.

Saturday morning came with a lot of noise from the residents above from just after 6am although Sunday was okay. All the restuarants were booked up for both Friday and Saturday night and although the chippy was great a short list of recommended restaurants to pre-book would be fantastic.

Lovely little space, well designed.

Location was great, very welcoming host, lovely little haven in the centre. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The only thing for us was the parking we had to move the car a lot - but it wouldn't put me off as we always found somewhere and all the positives outweighed any parking issues.
