Square Green - No 16 Balcony

The spacious rooms. The two bathrooms. The open plan lounge area.

The lack of ventilation. Fkat was very warm. The large tilting windows in the lounge and the ones in the bedroom when opened would continually slam shut. Could only have the bi folding lounge window open when it wasn't windy.

Loved the space and the way it fills with sunlight. Great location. Super quiet.

I would have liked for it to be serviced at least once whilst there.

The radiators in the bedrooms are not working and neither are the heated towel rails in the bathrooms. The washing machine is not working as the door mechanism is missing . The balcony cannot be accessed as the door can't be opened . The kitchen tap is dripping . The staff at the short let company responded quickly and were bery friendly but were unable to fix anything during our stay

Not very clean. Windows leaked both water & wind. No blinds in living room so sat staring into other flats & no privacy. Only got one towel each for 5 days. There is a washing machine but out all day & didn’t dry in time. Need extra towels for longer hair as well. Got quite rude sounding “updates” from company reminding me to not check in early or check out late as we would be charged. Considering you don’t get in until after 4pm & have to check out by 10am it’s a waste of a day. Given they have up to 6hrs to clean it it wasn’t done very well. Cobwebs on roof & everywhere & splash back was wiped with a dirty cloth. Blind in bedroom was also hanging by a thread.

Modern two bedroom apartment about a 5 minute walk from the centre of St Andrews. The Old Course is only about a 10 min walk further on. All the other renown courses are within easy reaching distance by car. Rooms are of a huge size and the kitchen cum living room is well equipped with all the appliances. Two comfy sofas in the living room as well. Two bathrooms (one en-suite) both spotless. Parking is out front and is numbered for each individual property.

Hard to say if anything could be better really. Only, if you are an avid golfer like me, it could be situated right next to the 1st tee on the Old Course.

Check in details provided made easy access. Location - easy walking distance into town. Facilities - had everything we needed. Clean.

As others have said, the balcony door was a bit hard to open/close/lock. Bombarded with emails and texts from Booking.com and the property management firm both asking for the same details - felt obliged to provide details every time in case this impacted our arrival/stay.
