Veľmi ochotná rodina, bez problémov nás ubytovali neskoro večer. Prístup do vily bol náročný (veľa schodov), ale majiteľ ochotne vyniesol batožinu.

Najväčším nedostatkom ubytovania bola kúpeľňa, ktorej chýbalo okno. Vzhľadom na to, že v ten deň bolo 15 stupňov a pršalo, bolo v kúpeľni chladno a pršalo do nej. Ponúkli nám piecku s drevom na zakúrenie, ktorú sme nevyužili, nakoľko sme prišli neskoro a boli sme unavení, avšak piecka by celý priestor dostatočne nevykúrila.

This property gives fantastic value for money with the entire host family involved in your experience. Sasemi was very communicative before our stay and arranged for her dad to collect us from the train station in his tuk tuk. We also got him to give us a city tour and he helped us buy the food so that her mum could cook dinner with us that evening, which was fantastic! The family couldn’t have been more hospitable and Sasemi even arranged our onwards taxi and the family came to meet us as we left. The house is basic but comfortable with plenty of room for 3 of us with a bed each. The kitchen equipment is limited to a kettle unless you want to cook on the open stove, but Dad installed a gas ring so we could heat up our breakfast in the morning. Thank you very much to the whole family!

The wash facilities are a basic wet room on a converted rear balcony, but I think are pretty standard for Sri Lanka and what more do you want for this price!

Good location, very good value, lots of space and lovely owners

There were a few negatives, it was very noisy at night the first night and the second there were lots of dogs barking. Not within the property, but did impact. The bed downstairs is probably fine for most, but quite short for a six footer and also very hard I'm afraid. Also the shower is in the toilet which has done openings which are permanently open, so could be a little cold for some. However this is all reflected in the price.

I spent one night with my family, and the owners were very kind and helpful. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. The place is great for the price.

Parking is on the street, but we had no problems.

The owner, Mrs. Manel, was incredibly friendly, kind, and easy to communicate with—she truly made us feel at home. The place was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Thank you so much, Mrs. Manel, for your warm hospitality! Highly recommended..!! 😄

I rarely rate places to stay with "10", but this wonderful place in Nuwara Eliya deserves more than the highest rating. It is a two-story apartment, perfectly clean, comfortable, with good beds, hot water, a kitchen and a balcony. It is located right in the center of Nuwara Eliya, close to supermarkets and restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet. I would like to emphasize the kindness and hospitality of the hosts, this is a wonderful Sri Lankan family who live in the same town (not in the same house where we lived) and who promptly resolved any of our questions and requests, and also fed us a great dinner and took us to the train station after check-out.

There is no Wi-Fi in the apartment, this is indicated in the description on Booking. On the other hand, you can buy a Sri Lankan SIM card in any store nearby.
