Manel Villa.

Ms.Manel and her family were super helpful. It is an ideal place for sole travellers or ladies because the neighbourhood is super protective.

There was loads of room for our 4 person family. Boasting two levels that both had open areas for relaxing or having a meal together. Also a kitchen to prepare the meal. Views out over the golf course made for a pleasant morning cuppa on the balcony The hosts were an extremely nice family. I hope we have the opportunity to return soon

The place was perfect and really cozy. The owners were extremely nice with us, they invited us to their house for te and they brought us dinner to the place.

Very good location. Spacious rooms and dining room. I like the big table. The host lady was very friendly and helpful. She helped me finding cars to Horton and confirming the bus to Ella. Super nice people.

The wash room is actually the balcony so when it is raining at night it will be cold and wet. No wifi.

The house was located very close to the city center hence it was pretty easy to find transportation and lots of good restaurants less than a km away. The house is in a complex with many other houses too and ours was on the second floor. The place was well maintained and it was very clean throughout the house. Adequate furniture to ensure a comfortable stay. The host and her parents are lovely people who were eager to assist us and made sure we had all we needed.

The bathroom and toilet had a separate entrance just outside the kitchen and it made it difficult for us to use it in the nights since the weather was too cold for us. Water shower pressure was low too. Otherwise everything else was good.

This was truly one of the best stays we’ve experienced in years! Manel Villa is an incredible place, perfectly situated in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, making it extremely convenient to explore the city. The hosts deserve special recognition—they are some of the kindest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our stay even more memorable. If you’re seeking a cozy, authentic experience that captures the local charm rather than a traditional, fancy hotel, Manel Villa is the perfect choice. It’s 100% worth every penny!
