Adorable Cozy House with Compact Parking and Loft!

The whole house is well equipped with washer dryer, microwave, kitchen etc It's not too far from the Capitol Hill light rail station. It's also a straight road (either Pike St or Pine St) to Pike Place Market. It is easier to walk down to Pike Place but walking home requires some degree of fitness. This shouldn't be a problem if you drive or hop onto the buses.

The window casement aircons were a bit noisy but thankfully we still slept through it. The ladder to the loft bed would be safer with steps and a side railing. Would be good to have a manual on how to operate the shower tap and kitchen appliances because it was the first time we have encountered this kind of tap. This will also ensure there is less risks of guests damaging the appliances.

I liked having the kitchen, clothes washer, loft, and skylight. It was also conveniently located near public transit, grocery stores, and restaurants. It was also an easy walk to downtown, which is about 30 minutes away.

I received 2 emails with 2 different door codes. I wrote the wrong one down before leaving and had to both text and call the host a few times because I was locked out. I also downloaded directions on how to find the home from Booking.com, and they were incorrect, which also happened to me last year when I did the same. I had to call the host several times to find it because it’s located off of an alley. This was annoying for both him and me because I kept having to call him. The host was helpful though.

The steps to the bed!

This location can't be beat, just a quick walk to plenty of restaurants, stores and Trader Joe's. Only about a 30 min walk down to Pike Place, which was a great way to enjoy the day and see the city. The loft bed was so comfy and the option to sleep upstairs or downstairs is a unique perk. The kitchen has a full size fridge which is awesome. 10 out 10 communication with the super helpful and friendly host, very quick to respond and fantastic all around. This place is an absolute gem, loved it!!
