Everything! We had the perfect family weekend away at The Snug. The owners & their family were all so friendly and helpful. They were really kind to our new puppy who was on his first holiday. The property was freshly renovated and had everything we needed. Decor was modern, everything was super clean, and our pup has complementary treats, towels and a bowl which was a lovely touch. The property is minutes away from the beach and a short walk to town. It was really quiet and relaxing - we couldn’t hear any noise from Butlins. We can’t wait to come and visit again

We liked that the property was Cosy and warm to return too after long walks out in the cold and rain .

We actually didn’t use our car for the whole time we stayed at the Snug as we preferred to walk. We only had a slight issue when Walking out for our evening meals as most of the driveway to the property was in Darkness, albeit the parking area and property itself were well lite. We resorted to using the light on our phone which was sufficient for the 80 metres that was I. Darkness. Obviously this is only an issue during the winter months. Perhaps a touch could be made available to future occupants.

A perfect space and location for what we needed. Both hosts made themselves known to us within a short time of us arriving- very welcoming and friendly! The Snug is perfect for a cosy weekend retreat. The use of the space in The Snug has been carefully thought through. It is tastefully decorated and we especially appreciated the little Christmas touches which made it feel festive. The little details such as the chocolate bar and pint of milk left were thoughtful. The Snug is spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and everything is on hand that you may require for a self contained weekend away. Could not recommend The Snug highly enough. Don’t miss out on this treat of a ‘home’ to stay in!
