GBWe had a really lovely stay. Dawn made us feel super welcome. The room was beautiful and the view was stunning. We cooked breakfast on the BBQ, which was a great touch, and enjoyed a takeaway from an Italian in Thirsk on the balcony in the evening. The hot tub was a real highlight, and everything was spotless and clearly very well cared for. You can tell Dawn takes pride in her home. We’d happily stay again.

GBThe property is small but cozy with stunning views and set in a quiet location, just a short drive into Thirsk.
The property wasn’t very clean, the sofa bed mattress and the sofa had stains on it and was very uncomfortable, the owner did say a new mattress was being ordered. However, knowing how bad it is, would be better to not advertise the property as sleeping 4 until replaced. The duvet covers were a little shabby, buttons missing which isn’t a big deal but the little things do make a difference. We found a dirty knife In the drawer. A few small things were pointed out by the owner, such as the runner coming off of the shower and not being put back on. Which is minimal but given the above just adds to our disappointment. The bed In the bedroom was more like a 3/4 bed and a squeeze for 2 people.

Food was disappointing I’m afraid we paid upfront for pizza and bbq meat. We didn’t receive bbq meat and the pizza was not good.

The drive through the scrapyard, no signs to direct you, I got out and was shouting, no one heard me untill I found the front door, then no answer, so had to just walk in, still couldnt find anyone, inside the tent was dirty, they had to go back in and re-hoover the place,
