We loved it. Beautiful room with a great view and hot tub on our private roof. Id Definitely recommend this place 🙂

Good location. Pretty scenery.

We booked last min so the host didn’t know we were coming. We turned up at 3pm as requested on booking.com but were told usually check in is at 4pm which is fair enough but quite late IMO. The campsite is in disrepair. Junk everywhere. Deflated bouncy castles. Old caravans. Logs and scrap, broken play equipment. Paths are muddy/ boggy. We paid £250 for one night. Having been many glamping places over the year, we were expecting something special for that price and what we got didn’t live up to expectations or the pictures unfortunately. Everything is quite shabby. The tipi tent looked mouldy and had a funny smell with dead leaves around the first inside layer. There was hair in the communal shower which was cold as the radiator wasn’t on. The hot tub was tiny and the lid was all worn. They advertise pizzas for £10 or packs of meat for the BBQ and a bar these were not available to us. Although the host was friendly and did help light our bbq and fire we were told they usually charge extra for the use of the bbq and the logs which having paid all that money I thought was quite scandalous. Such a shame as it could be a lovely place but we wouldn’t stay again. Especially not for that price. It’s more like a £120 per night kind of place.

Received a call that morning to see time of arrival at the cabin, ( booked for valentines) said a bout half passed 5, check in was from 4pm when booked. That was fine added some extras ballon’s and flowers added romance! Received another phone call about 3pm asking if we could push our arrival time back till 7.30 due to things going wrong for her, (yes no problem) got there around 7.40pm, where we was met by the owner and taken to our log cabin, instead of using foot path tramped us across a boggy field and joked about short cut! Cabin quite clean although, (self catering) dirty plate and cutlery, dust and hairs. The owner then taken £10 for food delivery service that didn’t happen as she didn’t answer the phone, we had to collect ourselves, hot tub wasn’t working called her to let her know, didn’t come to help, wasn’t enough logs for the fire so so cold! We checked out early, she then phoned to apologise that this doesn’t normally happen and was sorry and could she call us back on Monday to sort refund! Still waiting a month later

Room was lovely and clean.

Hot tub too hot. We hadn't been in the hot tub by 8pm and had missed calls and text messages asking if everything was OK as we hadn't uses the hot tub yet and was it too hot. We thought this nice but strange thing to ask, however when we did go to use the hot tub it was scolding hot and we couldn't even stand inside it. The owner was present straight away and said there is maybe an issue with the temperature gauge and preceded to add cold water with the hose pipe. We had to did this again as it was still too hot and the hot tub was overflowing. We eventually gave up and was very disappointed. I then got 3 messages and missed calls to say they have added more cold water and it was fine however by this point we weren't interested and the night was ruined. The hot tub or area had a strange smell also but couldn't tell if it was the water or patio area.
