Es war super alles super nett, vom Personal über das Zimmer bis hin zu dem Kamin hab ich mich wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war ebenfalls ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und es gab eine große Auswahl (auch vegetarisch). Ich empfehle es für die Region.

Breakfast was amazing. Great , friendly staff. I was late to check in , but the waited for me with dinner. Much appreciated.

I stayed at the Red Lion in while hiking The Cumbria Way with my dad. We had an fantastic stay! The room was lovely, clean and had everything you needed for comfortable stay and the food was delicious too. The atmosphere was really friendly and the owners made us feel so welcomed throughout our whole stay! We look forward to visiting again in the future. Thanks a lot for having us!

Being disabled I look for safety issues. Like many hotels, it needs a good, strong, grab handle to hold onto getting in and out of the bath / shower. Safety first please.

Excellent small country pub, ideal for overnight stay. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast.

Bedrooms a bit drab and weary.
