Spectacular view at 1on Albert

The room was enough.The host was the best host I've ever dealt with. 5 STAR RATING FOR THE HOST

The warm welcome and the privacy

There was absolutely nothing that my husband and myself enjoyed about our stay at Spectacular View 1 on Albert. Everything is awful "Spectacular view" is a scam! The place is so unsafe and in a really-really bad area, the only spectacular thing about the place is the small peep you of a view you get of the mountains, then a harsh smack of reality (loud taxis, noise, drilling and factories, heavy traffic, hooting, loud people fighting etc) The place smells really bad, the bedding smelled like sweat and an unwashed hard working man... To top it all off, the owner forgets to put in electricity, so we awoke past 4am to a place in complete darkness. Upon arriving at the reception desk to enquire, we are asked and interrogated by security, "where we got the keys from" and "we don't belong there"... The owner then sends R100 electricity and goes MIA once again. There is NO PRIVATE POOL! It's a filthy, swamp of a communal "pool". For the price, one would expect clean linen and towels daily, but no... We were left with 2 overused, fluff-less towels and 1 toilet roll... No complementary coffee or tea... Absolutely nothing. The balcony door was broken, the toilet kept overflowing when flushed, the bathroom basin was blocked and also overflowed water, the neighbors were roudy... I didn't sleep for the duration of our 3 night stay. My anxiety was at it's peak, as I was paranoid and scared of the location/area, the apartment and the other guests and security. Worst

Is there wr small towels to dry you off.The bar soap was small.There wr no sugar and coffee but thr is kettle.

Even though it wasn't the room I booked it did have a good view.

The manager had a very poor work ethic, there weren't enough cups, and glasses nor was there enough toilet paper. I had to use my data because the WiFi wasn't working properly. They only gave us one tool even though it was a couple's stay and the bed was poorly made when we got there it seemed like there wasn't all effort put into the room
