Cosy York Hideaway 7mins walk to York Historical Centre

My stay at this property was excellent. The host was responsive and made check-in very easy. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient for exploring the area, with shops nearby. Overall, a pleasant and hassle-free experience - I would definitely stay here again.

There was a lot of space. The bed was comfortable. It was very clean. It had almost everything we needed. It was well-situated. I loved the decor. I loved the greys and greens. I know others have said the furniture was cheap, but what do they expect? It was perfect for a weekend stay. What I did love was that there was a diffuser for the hairdryer. I have never been anywhere that has provided one before. This is a huge win for someone who has curly hair. Great job - thank you so much! I'll definitely stay here again if we ever need to come to York again.

There was only 1 glass tumbler, so my partner used that and I was drinking water from a wine glass all weekend! A cafetiere would have been a nice touch, as there was powdered coffee in the cupboard - we went out and got one from asda. I'm not sure if there was an iron, but it wasn't with the ironing board!

Walking distance from the city centre,clean and smelled nice as you walked in .

There is a sharp corner in the bathroom that cut my daughter's arm, I don't know if you know this but there is a rat that comes into the front garden to eat what falls from the tree not nice when sitting eating a meal. The door is a little tricky to open as it is straight off the stairs. We found the best way to open or close it was to sit on the stairs.

I love the layout and felt safe during my stay.

Only thing that it could do with was an iron.
