"Good value for money but some improvement needed."

It was available and the price was good. Staff were lovely. Beautiful old building, in need of some TLC, but still lovely.

Important things: Toilet lid didn’t stay open, extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Would be nice things: Mirror wasn’t over the kneehole of the dressing table but to the side over the drawer section. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom as every surface on the sink sloped.

Historic hotel, lots of interesting things to see inside. It is a shame the hotel is not being used to it's full potential. Room was very large, although perhaps not laid out ideally. Fan was provided. It was very warm.

Bathroom very much function over form. And a bit rough. Wifi not great. TV would not connect to internet, so no using the integrated streaming services. And many terrestrial channels did not work.
