Lovley warm welcome made to feel at home. The food was fantastic and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Not a noisy pub.

The rooms were nice and a good size, clean and well maintained. Bathroom was nice and clean.

Beds weren’t terribly comfortable, someone had the tv blaring at full volume both nights I stayed there.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the food and atmosphere in the bar was excellent.

Very minor niggle - the mattress was too soft for our liking

Only that there wasn’t a chef on a Sunday night but they had a BBQ outside which did us. Would like to add it wasn’t their fault, if we had known from booking.com there wasn’t any food being served we would have ate elsewhere before checking in. The breakfast was amazing so would have loved to have tried an evening meal
