The Bell Inn

Quick check in. Accommodating and amiable staff. Exceptionally clean throughout. Contemporary decor/fixtures/fittings. Very comfortable bed. Spacious ensuite. Traditional pub downstairs, seemed very popular. Restaurant with varied menu and good quality/quantity/priced food. Vegetarian and Vegan options available. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Great for one or two nights.

Accommodation over a pub, so some noise until late. No welcome pack in room/wifi details. No hairdryers in room. Small towels. The bed frame end sticks out and catches you on the shins - or knees if smaller! Ouch! No one introduced themselves, or welcomed us to the accommodation. No idea who was the owner/manager/bar/waiting staff etc. Just told to go to bar and speak to anyone there if you need anything! Communication could be better, for instance, waited for our beverages at breakfast to be brought to the table, only to discover by chance, that we were supposed to get out own from bar. We were somehow supposed to know!
