Riad Hadia Fes - Prestige Stay

- Die Unterkunft war sauber - Der Innenhof ist sehr schön, ein authentisches Riad - Dachterrasse (auf der einen Seite sehr schön) mit Blick auf die umliegenden Häuser und die Hauptstrasse - Beachte für Allergiker: Zwei hübsche Katzen leben im Riad, alle Türen müssen deshalb immer geschlossen sein (ganz wichtig!). Die eine Katze beisst, wenn man sie streicheln will.

- Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster, es war modrig / feucht und der Geruch im Zimmer war ekelhaft (im Riad sonst: Roch es sehr gut) - Es hat sehr wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer und nur eine beim Bett - Persönlichkeit der Besitzerin mag man - oder eben nicht. Sie ist sicherlich nett und bemüht, aber auch sehr bestimmend und arrogant. Wir wollten von ihr ein paar Insider-Tipps zu unserer Tour durch die Medina & den Sehenswürdigkeiten, da hatte sie uns ein Reiseführer vorgelegt und gesagt, dass wir das hier im Buch nachlesen sollen. - Frühstück war nicht so toll, wir mussten anschliessend nochmals auswärts frühstücken gehen.

The location was perfect - only a few minutes' walk from the medina, but away from the congestion and crowds. Hadia, Youssef, and Salma were all very pleasant and helpful. And when issues came up, they were resolved promptly.

Some improvements could be made to the door lock and shower head. The dinner we had was tasty and undoubtedly homemade, but expensive compared to restaurants nearby.

O locatie pozitionata foarte bine, intr-o zona a Medinei cu preturi mai mici decat zona Portii Albastre. Interior frumos decorat, mancare buna, aer conditionat in camera. Terasa foarte frumoasa. Acces la drum principal si la taxiuri. Discutati despre orice problema cu dra Hadia- proprietarul acestui imobil, o domnisoara foarte receptiva, frumoasa si deschisa la solicitarile clientilor. Un loc cald si primitor, cu o frumusete interioara specifica.

Aceste aspecte pe care le evidentiez nu sunt doar pentru acest riad, ci reprezinta un mod comun de prezentare in Maroc. Indiferent de oras, fie ca este un riad sau un dar, toate camerele au usa si ferestrele spre interior. Posibil sa va deranjeze zgomotul facut de clienti, dar aceasta este modalitatea de construire a celor doua tipuri de case traditionale. Un alt aspect intalnit la riaduri, indiferent de oras, este acela ca nu au decat sampon si gel de dus, fara a avea sapun. Stiu ca dra Hadia va tine cont de acest aspect si va avea deschiderea necesara inaintea altor proprietari de riaduri, astfel incat baia sa fie dotata cu sapun- lichid sau solid.

Stupenda struttura di importanza storica, con arredamenti bellissimi. Terrazza super! Posizione perfetta per visitare la Medina, atmosfera rilassante e accoglienza di Hadia e dei suoi mici più che impeccabile! Tutti molto gentili e colazione buonissima. Grazie mille per l’esperienza! Molto fortunati i turisti che potranno soggiornare qui!

Lovely property! Conveniently located. Good stay for our family of 5 (3small children).

Location location location..I was traveling with 2 small kids. It was super convenient with transport, shops with basic amenities, Also the souq close to this place with show your the real the fez than super tourist blue gate one.

The space was quite tight, though likely comparable to other riads in Fez. Overall, the stay was fine, but we did experience some difficulty with the payment process. Before arriving, I asked several times whether card payment was accepted and was told that it was. However, upon check-in, we were informed that the card machine was not working and that payment was expected in cash. This happened late at night while traveling with kids, which made the situation a bit stressful. The total amount was quite large, especially on top of the cash we were already carrying for daily expenses. We had to find ATMs and withdraw the maximum allowed amounts from both my wife’s and my debit cards, which also involved high withdrawal fees. Even then, we had to manage the remaining payments over the course of the stay, which was somewhat distracting. For future travelers, especially those from Western countries who may not be accustomed to carrying large amounts of cash, it may be helpful to confirm payment arrangements very clearly in advance and plan accordingly. All other riads we stayed at accepted card payments, so this experience was a bit unexpected.
