The Artist's House

The house is lovely and unique. The house stays very cool with the air con on, even during peak summer It's got a great location 2 mins walk from central Cefalu, the station is 10mins walk away too. It has all the amenities you'd need although no bottle opener which was a surprise for Italy 😀. The host was very communicative and could be reached at all times.

While the main bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor is lovely, if you need two separate bedrooms the 2nd bedroom on the first floor is very basic with temporary beds and thin mattresses. Luckily I'm a good sleeper and we had long days after going to Ypsigrock festival so I had no issues sleeping, but the bathroom on the first floor also has a very small shower and the beds are very basic, so those staying on the first floor need to not be fussy and will experience a lower quality stay than those in the main bedroom. For us it was great, but others may be more particular.

Nice room and decor

Two many steps to get to the property and two many dangerous concrete steps inside for a toddler . Second room was never made up even though we booked for two people plus a baby .

Great location, great hosts

I loved everything about this place, the location is perfect. So close to the centre, but far enough away to be really quiet. The house itself is so cute and bijou, yet all facilities are here. There even is a washing machine. I will be returning. Colin

Very central but quiet (once the elderly neighbours switched off their tv). Well appointed and charming in its eccentricity. Owner Federica proved very helpful in resolving a problem with the plumbing.
