The Cottage Inn At Amos Lake

This place was wonderful. Communication was great. Location was great. Room and accommodations were great. I wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the property. My stay was awesome.

I was very comfortable in this well stocked “home”, yes, the owners make this house very homey. It certainly makes you want to come back. The property is beautiful and everything is very well kept. No complaints.

We've been here several times now and I couldn't recommend it enough. Everything about this place is perfect!! The hosts are so accommodating and friendly. The view is gorgeous. The place is immaculate.

I do have to say that if you have any type of mobility issue, check what floor you will be on. The stairs are pretty difficult and were a struggle for me, so I just stayed in the room.

It was very small and a bit cramped, we expected much more based on price and images online, especially as compared to other places where we have stayed. There were little to no special touches.

The location and grounds are beautiful, additionally we appreciated the preservation of the old farm house with the addition of modern amenities. Cannot overstate how serene the property was! The rooms were cozy, immaculately clean, and the bathrooms had a generous amount of space (bonus points for the handheld shower nozzle!). We would have been happy to stay longer and shared this as a recommendation to family who live in the area.

Breakfast was just serviceable (bagels in the fridge, oatmeal packets and chewy bars on the counter). While it allowed me to take a needed medication in the morning without leaving the premises, as a whole was a little lackluster. Perhaps not a dislike, but a note for those who may be expecting more diverse, healthy, and/or hearty breakfast options.

False advertisement of amenities on property. Winery was not allowed to sell wine yet. No license. Owner says they had 6000 bottles of wine but not allowed to sell it yet. Property amenities not complete in regards to decking, lake access port, no access to a beach. Beach in fact is non existent. They advertise as a bed and breakfast but only offered protein bars and box cereal. No fire pits available besides one broken brick pit. Overall was pure definition of false advertisement.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! It's so relaxing there. The cottage is immaculate! The grounds are so pretty. We cooked out on the grill and ate at the outside table. The host is so friendly and accommodating!! We can't wait to go back... already booked!
