Location was so horrible and shady
INThere is no security in this property. No staff stays at Night at the property. Very far from the Mall Road.
ININThe room was spacious, well maintained, spic and span. Clean bathrooms. Good service, good food. The caretaker Arjun is very helpful, cordial, friendly . Overall I am happy with my stay at this property. The location of the property is also good. 10 mins walking distance to Darjeeling station and 20 mins approx to mall road. You save cab fares and the walking keps you fit 🙂
The rooms must have a fan atleast. Darjeeling is hot in june, fans are a big help
ININMr. Arjun was somewhat helpful, however he didn't show up at the time of checkout despite prior information, nobody was there, so we had to leave the keys.
The hotel is not on the main road, the vehicle can't go in the street as it's very narrow. Basic amenities like toiletries were not made available (previously used shampoo bottle, handwash was available). For a price of more than 4000 a day it was not a good thing. Also the bedsheets, sofa, carpets were unclean. We noticed that a dog had urinated in the lobby, it also left a few bones at our doorstep. Right beside our room on the ground floor on the left side, there was so much garbage left (broken door, and other stuff) which was also not professional.
INWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, and the food was another highlight—delicious and felt just like a home-cooked meal. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back!
