Harbour View- Cosy Maisonette, Close to Brixham Harbour

Very beautiful and clean place. Very close to the town centre

Everything was great

clean and recently fitted out

the bed wasn’t comfortable

The apartment itself was clean and lovely, no complaints. Really close to the harbour and it had great views. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t be able to park easily but we found free street parking on a Saturday afternoon in May only 4 minutes walk away which was fine by me. We could easily have parked in the paid parking area nearby too as it was mostly empty. Josh was very quick to respond and flexible in general which I really appreciated.

I think that Booking dot com should handle ID and stuff like that rather than relying on another website. Feels too much like Airbnb in that regard. Thankfully Josh was very understanding and patient with me.

Great location, is really cozy and clean, and is perfect for a short family break.

Parking was difficult but it's to be expected in the old windy streets where it's situated. It's a steep hill to get back up from Brixham, which again was fine for us but people with mobility issues may find it a challenge

Clean, well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Good location close to all amenities. The host was helpful and polite.

They were situated in a safe place and easy to acsesss

Great location with good views across the harbour. The house had most things that you would want for a self catering stay, though could have done with a coffee filter/cafetiere. It was a nice short walk down steps and back streets to the town and harbour. Good pub (The Manor) around the corner and plenty of food options in town, along with a good selection of shops.

Unfortunately the main bed was very soft and saggy and the metal bunks in the other room were very noisy when the kids moved about on them. The floor length bathroom window could do with a blind or curtain, our teenage daughter felt very exposed when showering directly in front of the unfrosted upper panel at night. Rather oddly, there isn't a room thermostat for the heating, in the end we just switched it off.
