Luxury Cheshire House with Indoor Pool, Cinema & Hot Tub

A stunning house in a beautiful location. This has the potential of being a fabulous house, especially for entertaining, as it has great facilities such as a heated pool, hot tub, bbq area, pizza oven, children's play equipment etc all in a delightfully quiet and rural location

Unfortunately, the house is desperately in need of some TLC. There were many niggles and problems such as broken or no locks on toilets and bathrooms, one shower was broken and another was blocked and flooded everywhere and the only workable shower had mould all over the ceiling. The kitchen lacked glasses, there were no tea towels or oven gloves. The top rack of the dishwasher constantly fell off it's runner. There were no operating instructions for the oven. The pool table only had one usable cue and an incomplete set of balls. The pole is broken that opens the Velux windows. The bed in the far end bedroom is broken as it's missing most of its slats, fortunately we had a child using this bed, sleeping on just one side as it wouldn't have taken an adult. There are some broken tiles throughout the property that need repairing. The bottom rung of the swimming pool steps is missing but has left sharp edges which badly cut one of the children. The door handle from the hot tub to the pool area is broken, meaning you get trapped outside. The house was generally surface clean but requires a deep clean in areas such as under beds and sofas

What a beautiful property inside and out , absolute amazing location for peace and quiet , plenty of shops a car drive away , our grandsons never left the pool and hot tub will 100% be returning . Ps the kids house outside was unreal and a suprise .

The pool was very cold. Many tvs weren’t working, the beds weren’t comfortable.

The only thing I could possibly say would be is there was no access through the front door and had to use the back entrance.

Potentially great facility

Upon arrival we were greeted with work vans who were there to fix hot tub which was left unusable for majority of break. The general cleanliness of the house was below an acceptable standard a few cobwebs you can cope with. But sanitary bins were unemptied and over flowing ! Upon contacting the host they said would send someone around in 30 mins. 4 hours later they turned up. This left a stench in the house that meant we had to purchase several diffusers and air fresheners too try and overpower it. Preganacy test hanging out of bins Sanitary products were left in draws. 8 forks for a house that sleeps over 10 people ! No welcome booklets pool was cold and heating hardly on as was locked and remotely controlled by host. Half drank cans left in places. Both downstairs showered were unusable more then 30 seconds as they didn’t drain and would flood. Pool is unheated. Contacted owner regarding issues and just got a sarcastic reply. No welcome manual meaning it’s impossible To work majority of stuff extractor fans speakers etc Tellys in pool area are disconnected

The Hot Tub was broken so we couldn’t use it at all ☹️ No of tge toilet bins were emptied before our arrival and was full of bloody pads and used toilet tissues so we sent one of us to go town and buy them ☹️ In every bathroom there was only one toilet roll which was not enough for 13 guests as we booked ☹️ Not enough cutlery in the kitchen for 14 people so we had to travel to town and buy disposable cutleries ☹️ There were not soap or hand wash in toilets except one half a bottle so we had to go town and buy some ☹️ At night central heating temperature was dropping to 13 and as it was locked by the owner we could not turn the heater on via the Nest at night ☹️ There were not any lighting on bbq area or we could not find it 🤔 All the waste and rubbish from previous guests not been moved from garden and there were a pile of waste causing bad smell and our little baby was keep touching them ☹️ There were not any spare bed sheets at all , as it was sooo freezing at night due to poor central heating, we needed duvets which were provided in every room but there was not any clean cover for them to use ☹️ All shower drains were blocked causing water flow in the bathroom area ☹️ Finally one of the toilets still had poo that wasn’t going even with tens of flushings , looks like the previous guest had constipation 🤢

The property is getting tired and needs some upgrades. The photographs look beautiful but there is quite a lot of maintenance required.
