Green Cottage in grounds of Grade II* Frognal Farmhouse

We particularly chose this location because we were attending a funeral and the cottage was very near to where we had to continue our journey the next day. It was beautifully quiet and close to dog friendly pubs too. Our hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. They adored the family dog and she had free rein of the enclosed garden which kept her very happy. We also enjoyed hearing about their renovation work on the Grade II house. We would like to return to see it finished.

This is not a complaint, but I'm not sure how four people would manage doing much cooking without an oven. We were offered the use of an oven in another property which we actually didn't need as we were only there for two nights anyway so we managed without.

Very cosy and well presented cottage with very comfy beds and good WiFi. Cottage is in the grounds of a fantastic 700 year old farm house, very peaceful and quiet. Also has secure parking for 2 vehicles. An ideal location for us visiting family in Faversham and Canterbury both towns well worth a visit. Mark & Paul are great hosts and could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. We have stayed at many properties in and around the area and would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely couple of nights at Mark and Pauls cottage, they were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to make sure we were really happy with everything, the cottage was so clean I thought that it had only just been refurbished, although it has been let for at least four years, We took our little dog with us and Mark and Paul made her so welcome, letting her have the run of the whole property and grounds, which was completely fenced all round and secure, when it was time to leave our dog sat on the path in the garden and decided she wanted to stay, we had to pick her up and put her in the car. We have friends that live in the neighbouring town to the cottage and Mark and Paul were more than happy for them to visit us and stay overnight in the cottage. We will definitely be looking to book in again as soon as we can. would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone.

I can't think of anything that would have made our stay better, apart from a miracle cure for my poor wife's constant cough :-). Believe me if they could have found a way they would have done it.
