Hoxne Cottages - Sunflower Cottage with private hot tub

Everything was amazing & super clean! Bed really comftable also.

The jacuzzi was a lovely way to relax. Lovely welcome basket on arrival. log burner was alias a lovely touch (even though we didn’t use it) Plenty of space and sofa was comfy. Kitchen was full of utensils and all the things you could need to make a nice meal.

Fan Oven did not work and the seal around the door was broken. Probably need a whole new oven. Did not feel confident about using it. Would have liked the option of a smart tv.

We loved the layout of the cottage, and the hottub was a great feature. The bathroom was amazing, the real log fire was an added surprise also. The cottage had everything you needed for your stay.

It's not what we didn't like. All I would say is that during the time we stayed in winter, you do need to drive as you're not close to York itself, I would say during spring summer it would be safe to walk to closest village where you can get a bus into york.

We love these cottages having stayed there before. Very clean and comfortable, 10mins from Monks Cross and everything you need is on site.

When we turned up, the owner Tony had just put up our lovely Christmas tree. We had a chat with him (great guy) and then walked into the amazing cottage. It's so well laid out and very clean. You couldn't ask for more. The kitchen is one of the most well equipped we've stayed in and the welcome hamper was spot on, very nice touch. Log burner was just icing on the cake. We didn't get to use the hot tub as the weather was terrible but that didn't spoil our stay.
