Dreamwood Retreat - Woodland Retreat with Private Hot Tub

Very clean, peaceful & safe

No storage for clothing & very low sofa

Nice location Good staff communication The property was clean The bed was comfy The hot tub was a nice addition Overall I would probably stay again as the area was nice but not in the chosen property which does not reflect the pictures on the website

1-The 2 seater sofa in the living room was truly awful & so so uncomfortable. It would have been so nice to come back after a day out & sit on a sofa , just to relax - impossible on this one however. It had no feet, the base of the sofa sits on the floor so is virtually impossible to get comfortable. As an adult You struggle to get up & down. We chose to sit on the dining chairs. It would be great for toddlers or small children as it’s floor level , but as an adult- no chance ! It should be replaced for practical reasons. 2-other than a few wall hooks in the bedroom, there are no other hooks , hangers or storage. You really need hooks in the bathroom, you really need hooks in the living room for damp coats etc & you ideally need hangers & storage for clothing in the bedroom 3 the bathroom, although clean, looked very tired & worn & in need of a makeover

Location was lovely. Apartment was very nice and exactly what we needed. Hot tub was great got cleaned once a day between certain hours. Which was amazing as we were out during the days and it was refreshed for us for the evening.

Could do with some cooking trays to cook food on in oven. Also some more lights around the garden for the evening would be nice as it gets a bit dark. But apart from that we had everything we could need and it was amazing.

The location was lovely , very quiet. Only couples and dogs on the site and we didn't hear much noise from next door even though the bungalows are semi detached. We loved the hot tub and the quality bedding, the walk in shower (loved that it wass non slip) and loved the Smeg appliances and cleanliness. The peace and quiet was just so valuable and we appreciated a peaceful, dog friendly but child free holiday venue, especially in the middle of the school holidays!

We felt the chemicals in the hot tub were a bit overpowering and the fumes affected our eyes if we stayed in longer than ten minutes. I'm not sure if all the jets were working or if we just didn't know what we were doing?! It was great to relax in though. The steps were a little hard for me and my small dog almost fell through them as they're open, so I'd probably try to go for a property without steps next time. I also struggled getting in and out of the hot tub as there was no hand rail.

Was great, much better than we were expecting, literally the only thing that let this place down was how small the sofa was! Must’ve been about a foot off the ground if that. Otherwise a lovely little cottage. Very peacful, think we saw our neighbour once and a member of staff, otherwise not a soul. The area itself is lovely, very beautiful and then the towns only 5 minutes down the road, would recommend👌🏻👌🏻

Hot tub seemed to be over chlorined. The sofa was also very low and therefore not comfortable.

Amazing location, perfectly situated for a quiet break, lots to do within the local area and short drives away. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was ready upon our arrival. Amazing communication from the hosts, with every bit of info you could need. We look forward to coming back again for a longer stay!
