Dreamwood Retreat - Woodland Retreat with Private Hot Tub

Absolutely stunning place to stay. Really modern and extremely clean, cosy and tidy. The hot tub was perfect and it was fabulous value for money. Lots of little bits like giant chess ,a love seat and walks surrounding the area. Will definitely book again.

There wasn't a wardrobe or chest of draws but that didn't bother us at all as we only had a two night stay but no big deal. There is some really large hooks in the bedroom so if you bought your own coat hangers you could hang your clothes on those 🙂

Peaceful modern cottage with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The host was very friendly from the online communications we had and even decorated the cottage for us after we said we are celebrating a birthday. The hot tub was really lovely at the chill evenings. Thank you!

Check-out time (10am) was very early considering check-in is not until afternoon (3pm). This didn't allow us to enjoy our last morning as we were focused on packing and cleaning.

No lights around the hot tub, main porch light on a sensor, which didn’t stay on. Hot tub lights didn’t work, so a bit dark if you wanted to use in the evening!

Second time of booking at Downwood Holidays. This time stayed in a lovely lodge in a beautiful quiet setting on vineyard. The staff I encountered were lovely and polite and helpful without being in your pocket. Leyla was helpful as ever with directions to the lodge. Will definitely be rebooking. There is a local supermarket a 5 minute drive away and plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Blandford Forum is a quaint cute little town with lots of local shops and take aways.

The only thing to say is the entrance to the vineyard is quite concealed and difficult to see in the dark/when travelling at speed down Wimborne Road.

Everything was great about the property and our stay! The host messaged when we arrived and also checked in whilst we were there. Great location and pet friendly! Through the woodlands is a footpath and a footpath to the golf course where you can sit outside and enjoy a drink with your pets as well. Will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!! The place has everything you need for cooking and for relaxing.

Needs better seating area outside for nicer weather.
