Nice ocean view. The reception employee was very courteous and helpful.

There is no parking lot, and it's difficult to park in the street. It's listed as a hotel, but in reality, it's an Airbnb.

Clean apartment with a beautiful view and a very friendly and accomodating host with good communication! We enjoyed the stay very much :)

Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas pendant notre séjour, et il n’est pas évident d’aérer lorsqu’on cuisine

Nous avons eu un bel accueil, notre logement a été surclassé, cependant il aurait été plus simple que la taxe de séjour soit comprise...

Une machine à café avec 2 dosettes serait un plus à l' arrivée.

Idéalement situé à proximité plages et commerces . Vue sur ilet gosier magnifique. Accueillis avec une extrême gentillesse et disponibilité . Logement très propre et confortable.

Melodie, in reception, made sure our out of hours arrival went smoothly, and was very welcoming when we met the next day. The room had a great view as promised. The two single beds we asked for were comfortable and the room was small but adequate. The room had free fast wifi. Importantly for me the shower worked well and there was plenty of hot water. We never ran out. The room felt secure with electric roller shuters and a safe. The Residence aslo felt safe as the front doors are always locked unless a guest is careless.The walk to the beach and a couple of nice restaurants is very short.

To be clear, I quite like the place but these are the things I think you need to know. The Residence is very dated. The kitchen area only has one plug (visible if you look at the photos. We were using coffee, kettle and toaster, so you need to be organised. There is a dishwasher but not enough crockery to use it unless you want to do partial loads. For example we only had two tiny coffee cups. We asked for more but were told there weren't any because the hotel was full. We bought two mugs and donated them on leaving. There was only one pillow and one single sheet on each bed. We asked for more but they were not able to provide. Even though the drinking water on Guadeloupe is safe to EU Standards the Residence warns against drinking from the room. We ignored that and were fine. The electrics are a little iffy. We had a socket that came out the wall everytime we unplugged. Finally we had a lovely balcony with great view but you need to know that the main road which you are directly on, is very busy, noisy and the fumes can be overwhelming. The parking on the same road is hit and miss but unless you struggle with walking it wasn't an issue. Our worst parking day, the car was 5 minutes away.
