Swallow View, A Spacious Base with stunning views

Great location, and didn't feel like a holiday home, but a real apartment. Views across Matlock are good. You can walk into town from there. The owners were helpful and welcoming.

Slightly tricky navigating into the car park spaces at the property.

Beautiful decorated modern apartment with clean facilities. Everything you needed. Milk, coffee and biscuits left, which was a nice touch.

Lots of steep steps to get to the apartments. Wasn't clear we were on the third floor when we booked. Was a workout getting all our stuff in and out. The walk to town was half a mile down a steep hill. I probably felt it as I was recovering from a fall. Be fine if your fit and well, but not suitable if you have any mobility issues.

Lovely and clean. Spacious and well equipped. The owners had left tea, coffee and some snacks as well as cleaning products.

It was up a steep hill. The walk I took Matlock was fine but after a full day out walking the walk back was a bit to much. However, an Uber was quick to find and only £4-5

A superb apartment with wonderful views. An ideal base from which to explore the Peak District.

Owners were very attentive during the whole process . Met on arrival and departure , accommodation was very clean and finished to a high standard .

The apartment was lovely, spacious and comfortable with great views across Matlock and surrounding hillsides, host were friendly and welcoming. Lots of walks and things to do in and around Matlock.

Not really anything to dislike, but the property is sat at the top of a steep hill and after the set of stairs to the entrance there’s 2 flights of quite steep stairs to get into the flat, so unless your super fit (unlike us) I would recommend driving down to the town because getting back on foot is a bit of hard work especially after a day of walking.
