Ayodhaya Palace Beach Resort - SHA Plus certified

Ayodya palace is a small part of Ayodya resort. The rooms are dated and need renovation. The prices of the palace are overtly high, except for partial beach view and a small pool exclusive to the palace guests there was nothing exception and prices were 3 times higher than the resort rooms. I would appreciate if they could have better spread of breakfast for vegetarians. The service was also pretty slow. The sea was rough and was not swimmable. The restaurant at the beach had prompt service, nice beach beds. Overall the property is very beautiful but the palace is very over rated, if you wish to stay, book the resort rooms.

A totally unique hotel. Huge swimming pool Very friendly and quiet. Huge rooms.......just a great hotel and excellent value for money. I highly recommend this place. It is like being in a huge temple.

I liked everything. A bit tired in places ,but that only added to experience.

It was a very good price, great value! Good location, breakfast was fine. Room is amazing, the architecture of the building too. Definitely it was a good idea to go for this!

There were so many mosquitos at the breakfast area and I got bitten so many times.

I liked everything here. Its unique. Totally different to every other hotel, and it has a huge clean swimming pool. Its a bit like "The Marigold Hotel" Only in Thailand.

This is a very unique property with a huge swimming pool and sits quietly in its own grounds just a very short walk to the beach. The staff are all like one big family and always happy to help...... I stay here regularly because of its charm and peaceful traditional surroundings...... The rooms are much larger than you will find in most other places....,...the property is a little bit jaded-but that is reflected in the price..... . Enjoy!

Dirty room including bed, which had bed bugs and we didn’t sleep(at all) No toilet paper or any shampoo(was useless anyway since there wasn’t any hot water. Breakfast(which they charge 200Baht/pp is absolutely terrible, you can choose from fried egg/cold sausage(keep in mind we came at 8am exactly and they start 8am and it was cold already😂)tomato, cucumber and rice… Staff was not helpful at all, during our check in they let us wait for a room for over an hour(after the check-in time) and the reason was they were “cleaning” the room… The entire outside area (pools, playground, sunbeds) looked like straight out of horror movie. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but after the first night we decided to check out and leave the hotel immediately as everything including the vibe was wrong. We kindly asked for a refund after explaining the situation(with respect) the gentleman, probably the manager laughed at us and told us to talk to booking with a huge smile on his face. do not recommend this place, double the price as some other places in Krabi yet it’s not even half the quality.

Close to Ao nang and landmark night market.Drinking Water and shower gel were refilled everyday.

Old building with poor maintenance(elevator out of service.Wash bassin clogged.Broken shower head.Bathtub advertised but could not be used as no bathtub cap available.Doors not close properly.Broken fan)We booked for double bed and got two separate matresses.Average and cold breakfast not worth the price.Overall not value for money.

rat in the room, not 24/7 front desk, a lot of facilities cannot be used, fridge not working also elevator [lift] also not working , they have 2-3 lifts but all not working, no bellboy and no room service, definetely not recommending this to anyone
