Apartamentos En Edificio Amapola Zona Colonial Malecón

This is my 3rd time staying here. I like staying here every time I come to Santo Domingo because its a convenient location. Everything is close by and walking distance so I dont need a car. It's close to the water (my favorite place to go for a walk), shops, restaurants. And the rooftop is the best place to chill when I dont feel like leaving the hotel.

Great quality/price. The rooftop pool (despite is not big) was great!

constant noise, when someone takes a shower you can hear a loud howling in the walls, I hardly slept at all; Stuff hardly speaks any English

States that it has wifi included this is only on common áreas not on the guest bedrooms also states a hot breakfast is included I stayed there saturday through tuesday and my only hot breakfast was for the day I was checking out... you take your chance carefully

The staff at the hotel didn’t speak any English and even didn’t try Breakfast was from 9, even it meant to be from 8:30, so be careful if you plan something

The hot water was hot. The ac was cold. Some of the staff was awesome.

Room was very noisy on street side. The breakfast was preserved and cold and worthy of pig slop my first day. It was only served for a short time: 9-11 I was told. I went the next day at nine hoping for something hot. I waited for ten minutes, but there was no breakfast and no one making breakfast so I can’t comment on taste only the lack. One particular staff on days was rude, recalcitrant and totally ornery. The five interactions with her to get a corrected involve were fruitless and most disturbing. I never received the invoice.
