Daydream house, Sunrise, sunset views across lake

The property was as expected - a little rustic, but with oodles of character. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The sun rising in the morning across the lake was something to behold!!

The view is amazing, the fireplace is really cosy, it was wonderfully quiet, and only 10 min walk from a great cafe. It was like staying at grandma's house in a good way.

Great location, walk along lake front and sunrise views. Nearby village shops excellent, no need to go far. Lots of space and well provisioned. A great base for Rotorua visit and views are amazing

Very minor, perhaps bit dated in terms of decor and facilities.

The views were awesome, and the whole place felt like home..

The view from the back porch was amazing. We loved sitting there and enjoying the lake.

It was an older property. Not enough bathrooms for our group. Also it was very hot in two of the bedrooms. No air conditioning in those rooms and no fans.

The location was fantastic on the lake and still close enough to Rotorua to do all the local stuff but quiet and tranquil on the lake. The house was large and had everything you could need. Large kitchen stocked with all cooking essentials and multiple coffee brew options. Rooms were large and comfortable with closet space. WM and dryer with detergent provided.

I love the location of the property, as well as it being fenced off completely. Easy communication with the owners of the property about any problems we may have or question we may have regarding the property before checking in. It's great for families, especially with since we had a small 1 and half year old full of energy, who loves the outdoors, so it was safe to let him run around outside without worry. Cleanness and had all the necessary things you need for a holiday away from home.
