Staff of Kumarakom Tharavadu hotel is great. They are very helpful. Hotel is well situated.Specially we loved the old heritage charm in this hotel.I can recommend this hotel without any hesitation. D Saxena

Lovely staff always helpful and the heritage feel is lovely

We were woken up at 4 am by loud music and bell ringing form the temple behind the hotel

The accommodation was excellent and had a traditional ambience. The food and the breakfast provided were very good even though the spread was limited. The staff were courteous and went out of the way to welcome the guests and take care of the comfort. They were also proactive and organised a sunset boat cruise quickly and the boat was ready by the time we arrived at the property. Overall an enjoyable experience and definitely worth recommending

The swimming pool was not maintained and insects were found in the water. This prevented us from venturing into the pool

Comfortable rooms, very clean, good wifi,good AC, good beds,light and plug near the bed,good hot shower, staff is professional and helpfull

A bit noisy, maybe add another toaster at breakfast with better bread and more choice

A lovely heritage building located on a canal and near the public ferry to cross Lake Vembanada. Well maintained swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent with fruit, eggs, toast, tea, coffee and different Indian food items daily. Dinner isn't currently available at the hotel but the manager will help you order from local restaurants. Comfy bed, good wifi.

Some rooms had visible mould on the walls. Some seating around the pool would be good for relaxing in the sun.
