Il Cortile Segreto - con parcheggio privato

Very nicely renovated and spacious traditional house, perfect location to explore the center on foot while having a reserved parking spot. Owner gave many useful information to us on reception. We really enjoyed staying here!

Heating is down when you remove the key card. If you are away for some longer time, it can take very long until temperature gets normalized again.

The apartment is very clean. Good bathroom facilities. Great location. Hosts very nice and responsive. We loved the kitchen and the patio.The washer was indeed useful and clothes dried quickly on the patio or in the lounging room with the dryer rack. Easy walk to the centro storico. A few small markets and multiple restaurants are close by. Great little coffee place on a nearby corner. You should be aware that the bathroom is on the ground floor and the main bedroom is accessible by stairs in sort of a loft. Motion sensor stair lights were a nice touch. Not much clothing storage in main bedroom but lots in the twin room. The private parking space is a really welcome feature.

The twin bed mattresses in the second room need a better foundation or to be replaced. The main bed upstairs was very comfortable. I think also a couple regular chairs in the lounge are rather than the current ones might be better.

Good location near city center and very friendly host. Apartment was fully equipped with everything you need for your daily basis.

Automatic key door. When you leave the apartment eletricity shuts down (with exception of the fridge). we wanted to use the washing machine while we were outside, and we coudnt. Second key cannot be provided for security reasons.

First of all, location is really great!!! Peaceful neighborhood + city center is just a few streets away... It cannot be better. Nearby there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, pasticerias and shops. Big market is also a few minutes walk from the property. Parking place is literally in front of the door :) Everything in the apartment was completely new and clean. Bathroom is beautiful, small kitchen has all you need and small terrace with automatic awning is a perfect spot for morning coffee. You have all appliances you need. Hosts were another surprise for us... they are very hospitable, you can communicate with them in English easily. We even got a small welcome present :) They showed us all places in Lecce and whole Salento we need to see and go (and marked all on a map). Everything is recycling in Lecce and I appreciate that... we had 4 different garbage bins so we needed about one day to figure it out how everything works (we are from Serbia so we don't have those things :)) Upper bedroom is very comfortable - mattress is just enough hard and big.

Mattresses in second room are a little bit softer. But I it's a matter of preference. Also air-condition is far from second room, but temperature was not so problematic.
