Sunderland City Centre Cosy 2 Bed Apartment

Location was ok, close to Metro and town centre. Area seems a little rough

The condition of the apartment from the pictures on the booking looked good but the reality is very different. The flooring throughout is damaged, there are holes in doors, kitchen cupboard doors missing, disgusting rug on the floor in the lounge, kitchen window has now handle so you are unable to close or lock it. Cleanliness all around was very poor, we bought bedding to cover the bedding provided as there were marks and hairs. We did try to move to other nearby hotels but none were available and was only in the area for the GNR. The place needs a deep clean and some updating. Very noisy in the night too, we were woken up several times during the night and even when we left before 9am the neighbours were playing music loud enough for all to hear.

Central location

The sitting room was dirty (not cleaned by contractor properly) and the washing machine/dryer is not working properly (with loud noise) and the kitchen utensils are of poor conditions

Felt very homely, the beds were comfortable, house was furnished very nicely throughout. Genuinely felt like home.

The stairs were an issue after a night of drinking...

Mustafa the host was excellent with his communication. The apartment itself was fantastic with everything you'd need for either short or long term stay. It was very clean and spacious. Only 10 mins away from City Centre and the coastline. Will definitely be asking if can stay there again in future. Thanks
