Bed was comfy, hot tub was a good size. The host had good communication before we arrived and was friendly.

The retreat is at the bottom of the hosts garden with little privacy. We have stayed at other air bnb’s which are located on the hosts property and had full privacy. We booked this thinking we would have the same. The retreat could be closed off with a gate by the hot tub. The host mentioned they were having a BBQ early evening. We had a meal booked that evening and we had to walk past the people in the garden which was a bit awkward for us. When we got back, we waited until 11pm to go into the hot tub as her friends were still there and felt like we were being watched. we got away for the weekend to relax and unfortunately we didn’t feel like we could in the hot tub. Host was playing loud music and friends were still there at 1am. Blinds were missing and kitchen tap was broken.

Wonderful chalet, thoughtfully decorated. Fabulous hot tub. Nice touches/additions from the host throughout.

Felt a bit overlooked, not as private as hoped but not the end of the world.

Warm, welcoming hosts. Lovely location for our get-a-way. The spa pool was privately situated and was lovely. Accommodation was comfortable and well equipped for self-catering. Nice little extras were included on our welcome.

Although we hadn't planned to use the cooker or the toaster, both were in need of cleaning. The accommodation was very warm at night, it would have been useful to have some form of ventilation, or smaller windows that could be opened, rather than having to have the main doors open. The car parking arrangement was a challenge on exiting the property.
