Ocean views, indoor and outdoor brilliance!

Very clean, tidy. Good location, felt safe and secure. Enjoyed the pool and the deck eapecially. Spacious kitchen amd bathrooms. Plenty of space for our family of 6, including 2 under the age of 5, and for our ladies’ gathering of 12 one morning.

This was a fabulous stay and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The property owners live in the basement apartment but are completely unintrusive and extremely friendly. We were grateful for some excellent local tips for great beaches and restaurants. The local area is wonderful; the quiet vibe of Haleiwa almost the complete antithesis of Honolulu/Waikiki which remains eminently accessible by road. Ignore previous reviews about the pool: it's very private, was always spotlessly clean, and was lovely for a refreshing dip after a long day out at the beach or local attractions. There are small air conditioners in every room. They're not super powerful but they're enough to take the edge off for a comfortable night especially in combination with the ceiling fans. House rules and check in instructions were fair and clear, respectively. Highlights for us were the outstanding location, the amazing lanai with ocean views (we saw humpbacks breaching over evening cocktails), and the quiet privacy combined with access to the best that Oahu has to offer.

The property is on a busy road. We didn't hear much traffic noise, but do be aware that Elmo, the resident rooster, is an early riser...!

The outdoor pool was a disappointment, pictures make it look great, it was ok but we didn't even really use much. Unheated and not as clean as we would have liked.

The house and location were great. Owners were very responsive. Beds were comfy and clean. Love the view from top balcony. Overall we had a great time.

The owners live in the basement. There are two cars shared in the driveway. There are also workers that come and go. Everyone was kind and minded their own business but I did feel like this should have been shared prior as we most likely would not have chosen to stay in the house had we known that strangers would also be occupying it. The pool was dirty for the whole visit.

Great location on the north shore. Close to Waimea bay and town of Hale’iwa. It was great to have a pool to relax and cool off in. It was very roomy and had good amount of stocked extras. Lanai was spacious.

It had a washer and dryer but was outside. With no light that I could find available. We needed them in the evening so it made it hard to use them. There was no lighting in the back where the pool was. That would have made it more enjoyable.

The owners were easy to work with and very flexible. They also were very straight about the house rules and process which I very much appreciated. I plan on staying here when I come back to visit my family and I have recommended it to my friends and family.

Great location! House was awesome! Big, open and secure! Hosts were very responsive and helpful!

No central air. Only had a/c units in two bedrooms. How hot and humid it was, this place definitely needed a/c throughout the house. We would often see a couple lizards crawling around inside on the ceiling in the living room. They didn’t bother us and they were harmless, but we would see them. No remote for the bedroom TV.
