The Raven House - Renovated Homestead Cabin

Raven House is as described & looks just like the photos. Everything I needed & more was in the cottage. The main bed is super comfy. I had easy access to each of the patio areas & enjoyed having my coffee & breakfast on the patio with the outdoor tubs (not functioning on my visit). The cottage is the perfect spot to stay while visiting the area. I was there to hike & see a little of Joshua Tree National Park. While Hilary was right next door, if I needed assistance, I was provided total privacy. The hot tub was fabulous to soak in at the end of the day & a great spot to stargaze. I truly wish I'd booked for a longer stay. It was a ten star stay. Thanks, Hilary.

I was not a fan of the showerhead. Hardly a deal breaker.

We had a great stay! Beautiful accommodation, spa to relax in at sunset and evenings by the fireplace! Coming from the hustle and bustle of NYC, our stay at Joshua Tree was so peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Hilari, for all your efforts to make us feel at home. And thank you for the extra logs and the new propane tank, it was amazing to spend evenings by the fire. We hope to come back soon!

Due to previous careless guests, the house had a few minor problems: the sink wouldn't drain and there were gnats in the house. But Hilary did everything to fix this little issues as much as possible, for example by finding a device that trapped the gnats. Thank you Hilary for all your help in making our stay as pleasant as possible!

What a wonderful find. I was here for three days on a work trip and this was the perfect rest spot. Super comfortable, everything you need, charming house, beautiful area / views / location and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Couldn’t ask for more.

Location was perfect. So close to JT Park. Little place had anything you would ever need…a fireplace with logs, stocked kitchen, hot tub and outdoor fire pit for the cool nights. Stars were amazing to watch. Even saw some shooting stars. Hilary and Bob lived next to our place and assisted when needed otherwise they kept to themselves. Very friendly and hospitable. No TV on the property but we really didn’t even miss it!

The cabin is super lovely. It was one of our highlights on our roadtrip. Especially the whirlpool where you can watch the sunset and stargaze made this stay so special. We would come back!

Wonderful retreat in the desert. Lots of extras provided including teas, coffee pods, Q-tips, shampoo. Oh, and there's a hot tub and comfy chairs to sit out in the cool evening and gaze at the stars. And the host graciously lent us yoga mats and chairs for the yoga festival we were attending.
