The Raven House - Renovated Homestead Cabin

The house is super cute with all the amenities.

The cabin is in a great location. It is not too far from town, and it has ample surrounding space.

The sofa was a little small, but that’s it.

The location was perfect, peaceful, and well stocked. The jacuzzi was great after a long day. Hillary and Bob are very friendly, welcoming, and sweet. Lots of beautiful sunrises and wildlife. I will definitely be going back.

Beautifully decorated cabin on the edge of the desert. The owners have done a wonderful job in providing everything you could need - there’s a log burning fire inside, every modern convenience you could need and plenty of personal touches like board games, yoga mats, a telescope. Outside you have the desert with wild rabbits and cactus, chairs, hammock, firepit and little hot tub. Heaven.

I had no complaints- I needed somewhere that was as close to being in the desert as I could get whilst also being near enough to the route into LA that we could get on our way the next day. This was the perfect spot. Perhaps if you’re looking for total isolation it might not be yours.

Clean, inviting, easy to get to, warm and inviting . That’s just a little of what we experienced. Hilary is a wonderful host who has thought of every accommodation. I cannot say enough about it. The kitchen and bath were awesome, the place was light and bright, and very well stocked. Thank you Hilary, for such a delightful stay!

Well equipped especially considering it’s size. Great book collection. Watching a desert sunrise or sunset from the hot tub is a wonderful experience. Great host.

This is an outstanding option if a couple wants to explore Joshua Tree and the National Park. Hilary was a brilliant host (and very generously threw in a bottle of wine as a welcome gift!); the property is in a brilliant location with amazing views; it is fantastically equipped (with the hot tub a particular treat!); and the design is stylish and modern. To be honest, I can't speak highly enough about this property and I would strongly recommend it to any potential visitor to the area.
