The Raven House - Renovated Homestead Cabin

The owner has gone above and beyond to create a home from home. We had shopped for some essentials but arrived to a fully stocked pantry and fridge - not with main meal ingrediants but absolutely everything else. Coffee pods, chilled creamers, butter, sauces, oils, toiletries, books, robes, laundry capsules etc. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking appliances and as Brits even a kettle!! The house is ideally located for the Joshua Tree gate to the park and has wonderful views down the valley. The outside space is lovely.

Everything was great, only very slight 'thing' was that we had come from travelling around and sleeping in 6ft beds and the bed is a bit smaller than that but that's a very minor thing!!!

The cabin was comfortable, bed was comfortable, kitchen is well supplied to cook, cabin was clean. The location is 15 minutes fron Joshua Tree Park

The toilet is very low and could be difficult to use if you have hip or knee issues.

Und hat hier alles absolut gefallen und wir können es jedem, der eine authentische, hoch qualitative Unterkunft sucht nur ans Herz legen. Es war außerordentlich schön… die Gastgeber warmherzig und sehr offen für Gespräche. Wir erfuhren viel über diese Ecke der Wüste… diese alte Homestead Hilary umbauen lassen und super geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten im Haus mehr als notwendig gewesen wäre - es war alles da. Kaffee, Tee, Olivenöl, Gewürze, Q-Tips, toll duftende Shampoo & Duschgel etc. Auch gab es hochwertiges Bettzeug (100%Baumwolle) und tolle, flauschige Hand/Badetücher. Sie hatten ein Wirlpool - blitzblank und sogar 2 Vintage Badewanne unweit des Häuschens. Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Ich hoffe sehr, irgendwann wieder hier einkehren zu dürfen. Beautiful home and property, peaceful outdoor seating and hot tub, great kitchen

L'accueil a été très sympathique, attentionné, c'est vraiment agréable d'avoir la propriétaire juste à côté. Le logement est très agréable, très bien équipé avec un grand confort. Tout a été pensé pour le bien être des hôtes. Le jardin est superbe, les équipements y sont complets, le jacuzzi est parfait pour regarder les étoiles. L'endroit est très calme et près de tout. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, c'est une adresse que je recommande. Encore un grand merci à Hilary pour sa gentillesse et sa bienveillance.

Everything about this cottage was exceptional. Perfect location to downtown Joshua Tree shops, restaurants, coffee shops and entrance to the park. Spotlessly clean, well organised, fully fitted and highly functional kitchen with the best view, cosy lounge area with fire place, comfy bed and white cotton linen with wonderfully dreamy pillows. White fluffy towels and bathrobes. Cute bathtubs and private hot tub outside. Dear Hilary thought of literally everything to make the stay as comfortable and amazing as possible. We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere and the star gazing from the hot tub at night , or simply lazing on the hammock enjoying sunset and stars. Having a good coffee in the morning on the back porch, in very comfortable chairs, paging through some of the many informative books left for us or watching the cute cottontail bunnies, hummingbirds and other wildlife roaming around. What a beautiful way to start the day. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Highly recommend, don't even look any further !! Thank you Bob and Hillary, your energy and vibe is incredible and we feel very blessed to have met you and stayed at Ravens.
