Budget friendly apartment with stairs Near Glasgow airport and Loch Lomond

Comfortable bed. Warm

Badly lit building and flat, not enough mirrors. Cleaning appliances in the clothes cupboard to hang clothes in. Mop, bucket, floor brushes, Ironing board, and iron. No instructions how to use appliances.

Beds were comfortable, bedding and towels were clean. Water and a small bottle of iron brew was provided in the fridge.

The outside of the flat was littered with vapes and rubbish, the smell of the shared stairs was unbearable 😑, A leaflet was delivered through the letter box which let the smell of the hall into the flat, which was rather unpleasant. Carpets, sofa and cusions needed cleaning. Toilet seat broken. Blinds did not function properly. The home was in need of a deep clean. We only used the accommodation to sleep and shower. .

Property had lots of space for luggage and was central to everything.

Parking on the street is limited. 3 pieces of cutlery in kitchen not suitable for family. No instructions for heaters.

Very clean and tidy apartment, cosy feeling. Host threw in a lot of extras; we enjoyed the coffee from the Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Water bottles were already waiting in the fridge! So many selections of tea and condiments handy if anyone wants to cook.

The shower was not as we expected; water gets too hot as it runs. Mirrors in the bedroom could have been handy.

Advert stated no pets or smoking. Could smell strong cigarette smell in the flat, my wife had a strong allergic reaction (animal fur), and so did my sister within 15mins of being there. Ruined the weekend as she had continuous chest pains, trouble breathing and itchy eyes. It will take her a week to recover. The stairs had carpet grips that were sharp and stabbed your feet if not extremely careful. Drew blood from my 3yr old girls foot. Strong unpleasant smell has clung to our clothes and can still taste it after driving home 6hrs.
