Railway Cottage - Pet friendly with parking

Good location. Nice and quiet.

Only thing was we took two small dogs, one is an escape artist and the garden wasn’t 100% secure although the dog can find her way out of the smallest gap so can’t really fault it.

The owners were lovely and really communicative on the platform. Two comfy sofas and a good working TV for the kids. Accommodation was basic, but reflected in the price.

Smelled a bit musty - but again its an old railway cottage. It is very basic and a bit of a mishmash of stuff. But again, it was what we needed for a one night stop over. If it was for much longer, we would have needed something a bit bigger for 2 adults and 2 young kids. But again the owners were really great and welcoming.

Great location quiet and easy access to Ripon. Comfy beds. Character cottage with beams. Small private back garden not overlooked. Spacious walk in shower.

In the second bedroom there was no bedside cabinet due to the wardrobe being too close. Also no space for chest of drawers. The bathroom is downstairs which is a bit inconvenient at night time when you are older! A few trip hazards at the property. A large clock in the living area that is not set. A few more personal touchs would be appreciated

A beautiful cottage with garden in a pretty and rural village just outside of Ripon. The cottage is wonderfully kitted out making it an immediate home from home. The dogs were really happy and settled immediately. A lovely large bathroom and fabulous shower, lovely comfortable beds. Lots of lovely nearby walks near the canal with the dogs.

Nothing significant, the stairs are quite steep but double banister helps. The garden area is shared access with the property next door which was sometimes a little challenging with the dogs, but not an issue.

Excellent location , lovely and quiet . Very clean cottage with pretty garden . Well equipped and very tastefully decorated Nice to have a car parking space right by the gate

Only one small comment , the garden isn’t completely secure so dog owners be aware . My dog escaped out under one of the bushes into the road , thankfully the road is quiet.

Location was very handy for our visit to Fountaines Abbey.
