Railway Cottage - Pet friendly with parking

It was a lovely stop over for us all, before we went on to Flamingo land :-) It was a 55-minute journey if you go down the country lanes. The small cottage has a very airy, cosy and had a welcoming feel about it. Even the neighbour’s dogs joined us a couple of times. Beautiful surrounding area with an M&S food; Aldi; Morrisons all within two miles away. Large bathroom with a shower to die for, with shower products, also other products. A lovely snug kitchen with everything you need, if you like cooking, that is. Also, it has an amazing flexible hose tap :-) Bedrooms were very spacious. Beds are lovely, but they are firm. If they are too firm for you, the sofa is massive :-) In the entrance to the property, there is the biggest chair we have ever seen for such a small area, but it works. Garden & patio area were beautiful, peaceful. I hope you get to hear the Owls at night.

Beautiful location, very sweet property, gorgeous garden and very close to local walk along the canal.

It was fabulous, could have done with a few more utensils in the kitchen such as oven dishes however the lady looking after the property was very very helpful and friendly.

No Breakfast, self catering. Property was generally ok.

General cleanliness, tidynes could have been better, but ok.

Lovely property in very quiet and friendly location. Super comfortable and spacious. Nice walks nearby. Owner popped around to say Hi and check I had everything I needed. Also left a handy list of things I might need, from pubs, supermarkets, takeaways etc.

We spent a short weekend in this little gem of a cottage. It was positioned in a lovely location, the garden was perfect for the dogs, well secure and could let them freely run around. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. The house offered everything that we needed during our stay, it was very comfortable and all facilities were excellent! Well recommended and will hopefully be returning!

Very comfy cosy cottage with parking space off road. Good price. Easy to find. Garden to sit in which overlooks open fields.

I feel the back bedroom needs more thought put into it. Double wardrobe took up a lot of space that left no room for a bedside table. I take a glass of water to bed but there was nowhere to put it but on the floor, also no lamp too. I like to read but had to have the main light on which is not good if only one likes to read. No mirror so had to go either downstairs to the bathroom or use the front bedroom one which may not always be appropriate. Single wardrobe and mirror instead of two framed prints would be much better. Unfortunately shower runs hot then cold.

Quiet. Helpful owner. Quaint cottage with windy stairs. Downstairs bathroom. Good sized bedrooms,wi fi. Good kitchen ,off road parking and pretty garden. Great walk in shower.

Downstairs bathroom difficult in night. Stairs a bit steep.
