Clean and comfortable, nice quiet location. Well equipped , and very nice to have coffee and milk supplied. Walking distance to central Saffron Walden.

Shame there’s no room for a dining table inside.

Beautifully finished . Spotless throughout. Great private Garden with Seats. Parking outside property. Everything you need for a great stay. Close to the Town , which is lovely. Walkable to Audley End House for the concert we went too.

We were only on a fleeting visit to Saffron Walden- it was very convenient and comfortable place to stay (sorry we couldn't stay longer!).

An attractive, nicely laid out lodge with private entrance and garden. Location is perfect, 10 minute walk into Saffron Walden town centre, 15 minute walk to Tesco. Close to local attractions and neighbouring villages, eg, 15 minute drive to Linton . 25 minute drive to scotsdales garden centre. Lovely accommodation with plenty of wardrobe space (hanging with coat hangers, and drawers). A nice comfy double bed. A nice clean shower and bathroom. Clean and fresh smelling towels. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with crockery and cutlery and basics such as tea, coffee and sugar. Nice gesture of welcome biscuits and milk in the fridge. Easy to understand instructions about disposing of rubbish, using equipment and emergency contacts. Communication was good before arrival and on hand to answer any queries during my stay if needed. Didn't need though. I felt at home having lived in Linton and worked in Saffron Walden some 26 years ago. Would 100% recommend and stay here again. Thank you to the hosts David and Adelaide. Not a dislike but a suggestion, is complimentary bottles of shampoo and shower gel/wash. I did have my own but other places I've stayed have provided these. Otherwise it was lovely.

The space was ideal for me as a solo traveller working away from home. I had Saffron Walden on the doorstep, a small garden to relax in and a kitchenette to prep something to eat. Bed super comfy. Shower excellent. Communication clear, entry easy, location spot on.

Small extras would be great, but wouldn't stop me using again, like shower gel and milk.
