Cozy Family Stay with Free Parking and WiFi

Heating was on when we arrived, which was thoughtful, clean and comfortable bedding, plenty of towels for 4 people which were clean, extra blankets in wardrobes,, fridge, kettle, toaster. Location OK for our visit to the Leeds Arena ( short taxi journey). Very basic accommodation, no frills( odd taps in bathroom, odd doors, odd door handles) but adequate for an overnight sleep which was all we needed.. The Owner responded quickly to message when needing help finding the place and was friendly. We were nice and warm in the house. There was a table to eat at, a kitchen, cutlery, crockery, glasses. Two double beds.

We were expecting an apartment as per the description. We were surprised to find it a terraced house, very steep stairs. This would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues, joint problems., Unfortunately the Cleaning staff must not have noticed that there was hair in the bath plughole. I cleaned the bathroom myself with cleaning wipes I had in my bag and removed the hair from the plughole, but we didn't use the shower. There was a dirty wine glass in the cupboard with red wine residue in it ( could have been left by previous occupants) and fresh stains from a spillage of possibly tea or coffee on side of fridge There was a used washing up sponge on the sink (could have been left by previous occupants) but clean wash up sponges in the cupboard washing up liquid. .. Some of paintwork was grubby (maybe prepared for painting but not finished). No coffee or tea available , best take your own. The welcome message was a bit confusing as it said the key safe could be found by going through the garden gate. The property we found by address had no garden, but a gate over the door, so initially we thought we were at the wrong place (the fact we were expecting an apartment, not a terraced house also threw us off 😁)
